From 20 to 22 October 2022 the annual edition of the updating studies of the Offshore and Marine Engineering Association - AIOM was held at the University of Parma (Aula Magna, Headquarters).
AIOM - Offshore and Marine Engineering Association and the Italian section of PIANC - World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure carry out complementary, non-profit activities aimed at knowledge, study and training on various issues relating to coasts and offshore. These include: maritime and coastal structures, ports and maritime transport, coastal protection and protection of the marine environment, marine renewable energy, planning and management of coastal areas and anthropogenic activities.
These are research and application topics between Energy, Environment, Territory and Civil Engineering, dealt with in the teaching of Environmental and Coastal Hydraulics of the Master's Degree Course in Engineering for the environment and the territory, for the best combination of needs techniques and respect and protection of the environment.
