School of Nanomedicine 2026 – Bari
Prof. Michele Mossa was among the organizers and members of the Scientific Committee of the School of Nanomedicine 2026, held at the Polytechnic University of Bari, Aula Magna “Domus Sapientiae”, from April 20, 2026 at 13:30 to April 22, 2026 at 18:30.
The school was aimed at undergraduate students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists interested in deepening their knowledge of advanced topics in nanomedicine, including:
nanomaterials and biomaterials for medicine;
tissue engineering;
nanoscale pharmaceutical formulations;
diagnostic imaging techniques and medical sensors;
personalized therapies.
The 2026 edition also featured a special session on the exposome, moderated by Prof. Michele Mossa, defined as the totality of environmental exposures influencing human health and disease onset, as well as an ERC GIULIa microsymposium on Magnetic Hyperthermia for Metastasized Tumor Treatment.
The event was organized by CNR-IC, CNR-ICCOM, CNR-ISM, the University of Trieste, the Polytechnic University of Bari, and IIT Genoa.
