IAHR Fellow Member Distinction to prof. Michele Mossa

With a letter of 20th June of 2023, on behalf of IAHR (International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research; https://www.iahr.org/), the IAHR President, prof. Joseph H. W. Lee, the Chair of the Awards Committee, prof. Amparo López, and the IAHR Executive Director, dr. Tom Soo, informed prof. Michele Mossa that his nomination to be an inaugural Fellow Member of IAHR was unanimously approved by the IAHR Council. IAHR Fellow Membership is a new distinction introduced in 2023 to recognise IAHR members for their outstanding contributions to hydro-environment engineering and research and to the development of IAHR.
The award was presented to Prof. Michele Mossa during the IAHR World Congress (Vienna, Austria) on 23 August 2023 at the end of the session on ecohydraulics of which he was convener.
