23/8/2023: awarded as Fellow Member of IAHR (unanimously approved by the IAHR Council). IAHR Fellow Membership is a new distinction introduced in 2023 to recognise IAHR members for their outstanding contributions to hydro-environment engineering and research and to the development of IAHR.
The award was presented to Prof. Michele Mossa during the IAHR World Congress (Vienna, Austria) on 23 August 2023 at the end of the session on ecohydraulics of which he was convener.

The project was funded on the basis of an international competitive call with revision (call of April 2017, expiring on 23 June 2017, estimated budget: € 30,000). Participating research units: CoNISMa-DICATECh of the Polytechnic of Bari (I), University of Bozen (I), University of Palermo (I), University of Hamburg (D), University of Twente (NL), Technion (Haifa- Israel) .
